TYPES OF VENDOR, ENTERTAINMENT AND DEMONSTRATION PARTICIPANTS
(geared toward families)
1. COWBOY FAMILY FAIRE at the
Barn
- Ranching equipment/vehicle displays
- Displays depicting local ranching/cowboy/founding
of Murrieta
- Musical performances in barn
- Ranching/cowboy activity demonstrations
> i.e. sheep sheering
> lassoing/roping
> others (blacksmithing/iron works, etc)
- There may be reenactments – to be determined (no guns,
no gun shooting)
- Retail vendors keeping with the theme of the
festival
- Food vendors (light snacks and drinks)
- Cowboy poetry performances
- Pony rides
- Stagecoach and other western/cowboy/diary
farming displays
- Non-profit booths displaying/information in
keeping with the theme of the event.
- Chamber of Commerce information about
Murrieta and the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve
2. JUBILEE at the Ranch
- Ranching equipment/vehicle displays
- Displays depicting local ranching/cowboy life/history
of the area
- Western and Native American art and historical
displays
- Retail – Western clothing and accessories
- Retail – horse and ranch related
- Non-profit booths displaying information
in keeping with the them of the event
NOTE: There will be no alcohol sales contracted
with the food vendors that apply through the Santa Rosa Plateau
Foundation vendor application process. All vendors and demonstrations/displays/entertainment
must be approved through the Foundation’s vendor application
process.
